Teacher dies on National Highway, crushed by trailer vehicle

Korba. A teacher died after being hit by a trailer in village Lamana of Bango police station area on Katghora-Ambikapur National Highway (NH 130) of the district. The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Samarasay Khairwar. He was going to submit the paper in high school after taking the examination from Navapara Vidyalaya.

Meanwhile, a speeding trailer coming from behind hit him. The collision was so severe that the teacher’s head hit the road and he died on the spot. Local people reached the spot as soon as they got information about the incident. They informed the police by calling 112.

The police have sent the body to Podi-Uporda for post-mortem. Bango police station in-charge said that investigation of the case has been started. The absconding trailer driver is being searched. The teacher’s family has been informed about the incident.
