Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that our effort is to provide equal opportunities for education to the students of villages and cities as well as forest areas. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel today felicitated the students who got place in class 10th and 12th merit list in the annual examination of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education for the year 2023 under Swami Atmanand Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana. In the ceremony, all the meritorious students were given an incentive amount of Rs 1.5 lakh each. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel transferred the incentive amount through RTGS to the bank accounts of meritorious students at the function. The Pratibha Samman ceremony was organized at the Chief Minister’s residence.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel extended best wishes to the meritorious students. Talking directly to the children, he asked if anyone was scared of sitting in the helicopter, all the children collectively said that they were not scared at all. Praising all the children, the Chief Minister said that during the inspection of Swami Atmanand Excellent School during the visit-meet program at Raghunathpur in Pratappur assembly constituency, on the insistence of little girl Smriti, three-four children were taken along with her in a helicopter there. After this, it was decided to give helicopter joy ride to the toppers of 10th and 12th board exams. He said that in future many children will get the opportunity to board an aeroplane, but only a select few get the opportunity to travel in the helicopter of the government. Last year in 2022, joy riding was done to the toppers of the board exams. This year, along with 78 toppers of board exams, five toppers each of high school and high secondary exams from special backward tribes were also given joy riding.

The Chief Minister said that in order to encourage the economically backward and weaker sections towards education in the state, the students of the special backward tribes – Abujhmadia, Baiga, Birhor, Kamar and Pahadi Korwa were felicitated who secured first position in high school and higher secondary. going. All these students are also being given an incentive amount of Rs 1.5 lakh each.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel told the children that you have achieved success in making a place in the merit list with your hard work and dedication. When we achieve any goal, respect increases in society and family. He taught the children that success should not change your behaviour. Be proud of success, don’t be proud, be humble.

The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of happiness that most of the students in the merit list are from rural areas of Chhattisgarh’s remote areas. He said that our government has created an environment of education in the state. Swami Atmanand English and Hindi medium schools have been started. The Chief Minister said that Wi-Fi facility has been started in 300 Rural Industrial Parks (RIPA) started in the state so that rural children can easily get internet facility for studies. It was started from Ripa of Beltukari village of Bilaspur. Arrangements were made for children to sit at a Ripa in Dhamtari district. He said that for the convenience of the children, e-libraries have been started in remote districts like Sukma, Kanker. Schools in Sukma, Bijapur, Dantewada were damaged by Naxalites, such schools were restarted after 300 years. The Chief Minister said that the innovations made in Chhattisgarh in the field of education during the Corona period were discussed across the country.

School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam said that on the initiative of the Chief Minister, meritorious students in Chhattisgarh have got the opportunity of helicopter joy riding. This initiative of the Chief Minister is exemplary for the whole country. Dr. Tekam said that all of you should not lose your spirits. More challenges will emerge in the times to come. Encouraging the children, he said that when we used to study, there were not so many facilities which you are getting. He encouraged them to move forward with dedication and hard work. He told that when the meritorious children were doing joy riding this morning, the happiness on the faces of the children was visible.

Under the Swami Atmanand Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana, out of 78 students who got place in the merit list of class 10th and 12th examination of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education for the year 2023, 48 students of class 10th and 30 students of class 12th are included. . This year, 11 students of high school and 8 students of higher secondary of Swami Atmanand Vidyalaya have secured place in the merit list. The welcome address was given by Dr. S. Nargis Khan, a student of village Ghumka in Balod district, was also honored at the function. Nargis Khan is a Class VII student, she was allowed to appear in the Class X board exams with special permission. Nargis has secured 90.50 percent marks in the board examination.
