Transgender buys nomination form to contest assembly elections, ready to compete with OP Choudhary and Congress candidate
Raigarh: Madhu Bai of the Kinnar community came into limelight not only in the state but also in the country when she emerged victorious as an independent candidate in the Raigarh Municipal Corporation Mayor elections by getting more than 33 thousand votes and defeated her nearest rival, the ruling party BJP. Mahavir Guruji was defeated by 4537 votes. The result had surprised everyone. The election results were as if the voters had given a strong slap on the cheeks of the leaders of all political parties by giving them the mandate. Madhu Bhai has bought his nomination form from (J) for the upcoming assembly elections in Raigarh district.
Voters cheated by Congress and BJP have in the past looked to national parties during mayor elections as a third option. At present, rebellion is clearly visible in both Congress and BJP parties. Candidates angry with the ticket distribution in both the parties have now become Vibhishan. Congress leader Shankar Lal Aggarwal has decided to leave the party and contest as an independent candidate, whereas in protest against BJP candidate OP Choudhary, BJP leader Gopika Gupta has also given an ultimatum to the party high command to change the candidate by October 30 and the BJP candidate In case OP Choudhary is not replaced, he has announced to contest as an independent candidate.
“Between two, the third has the advantage.”
You must have heard this saying also. It seems that this time something similar is being speculated to happen in the Raigarh Assembly elections also. The rebellion has started becoming vocal in both the BJP and Congress parties. Angry Congress leaders demanding tickets are seen against their own party, while in BJP, the famous BJP leader of Pusaur area Gopika Gupta is adamant on replacing BJP candidate OP Choudhary. Angry leaders of both BJP and Congress parties are digging potholes in their respective paths. Although, to control the damage, the district officers and high command of both the parties are trying to convince their respective workers but till now they have not been successful in convincing them. Overall, the political heat is at full frenzy here. In such a situation, it seems very interesting that former Mayor Madhubai Jogi is contesting from Congress. Raigarh seat has become the hottest seat in the state and the electoral equation is getting interesting day by day. What color will it change in future? Who will get the mandate and on whose head the crown of victory will be crowned is in the womb of the future.
