Trichy- Tambaram special train will run as a permanent train from March 1

Tamil Nadu: The Trichy-Tambaram Special Express train will run as a permanent train from March 1st.
The Trichy-Tambaram-Trichy special trains (06190, 06191) have been running for a long time. Train passengers, including Trichy MP Durai Vaiko, Mayiladuthurai MP Sudha, and others, have requested the railway administration to run this train as a permanent train.
Following this, the train’s number will be changed to 16808 and 16807 and it will be converted into a permanent train from March 1st.
Accordingly, this train will run five days a week, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with 18 coaches, including two AC coaches, eight seater coaches, six general coaches, one disabled coach, and one luggage coach.
It will depart from Trichy at 5:35 am on March 1st and reach Tambaram at 12:30 pm via Thiruverumpur, Thanjavur, Papanasam, Kumbakonam, Mayiladuthurai, Sirkazhi, Chidambaram, Thirupadhiripuliyur, Panruti, Villupuram, Tindivanam, Melmaruvathur, Chengalpattu.
On the return journey, the Trichy Divisional Railway Administration has stated that it will depart from Tambaram at 3:30 pm and reach Trichy at 10:40 pm via the same routes mentioned above.
Trichy MP Durai Vaiko has welcomed the announcement.
