Businessman commits suicide after killing wife and daughter in Dharmapuri

Tamil Nadu: In Dharmapuri district, an incident shocked the entire region on Tuesday. According to reports, on Tuesday morning, Santhosh called his daughter, Sathvika, back home from school as usual. He then strangled his wife, Saranya, inside the house. He then attacked his daughter with a hammer and slammed her against a wall, killing her. After this horrific incident, he fled the scene on his two-wheeler.

Neighbors were the first to notice the incident, who immediately informed the police. Upon receiving the information, the Dharmapuri police arrived at the scene. Police recovered both bodies from the house and sent them to the Dharmapuri Government Hospital for post-mortem. The scene inside the house also shocked the police.

Meanwhile, a few hours later, police received information that a man had committed suicide by jumping in front of a speeding lorry on the Salem-Dharmapuri National Highway. When police arrived at the scene and began investigating, the deceased was identified as C. Santosh, who was absconding after killing his wife and daughter.

However, a detailed investigation is underway to determine the true motive behind the murder and suicide.
