TTE suspended after video of taking bribe from passenger went viral
Moradabad (ANI): A video of a Traveling Ticket Examiner (TTE) allegedly taking bribe to provide berth in a train has gone viral. After this the railway authorities suspended the TTE and ordered an inquiry into the incident.
As the festive season approaches, crowding in trains has increased. A video of a TTE taking bribe from a passenger going to Meerut for a berth in the third AC coach of Nauchandi Express has gone viral on social media. The express train was going from Prayagraj to Saharanpur.
Sudhir Kumar Singh, Senior DCM, Moradabad Railway Division, Northern Railway, said, “This TT has been immediately suspended and strict action will be taken against the staff in case of any negligence and taking bribe in lieu of providing undue facilities to the passengers.” Will.”
