Tukkugudap: One dead, five injured on ORR

Hyderabad: A car rammed into a group of laborers on the Outer Ring Road in Tukkuguda on Wednesday, killing one person and injuring five others.

According to police, six laborers were doing paint work on the Outer Ring Road between Exits 13 and 14 in the afternoon when a car going from Patancheru to Bongalur hit them.

One person, Manzoor Mia (41), died on the spot, while the other five were seriously injured and were taken to hospital, where the condition of Kalim Ansari (35) is said to be critical.

“The car driver who works as an engineer was driving his vehicle negligently and collided with the workers. A case has been registered,” said Pahasharif sub-inspector, K Madhusudan.
