Two accused in hashish smuggling sentenced to 12 years
Sirohi (Rajasthan): 8 years ago, in the case of hashish smuggling, special judge NDPS case number 1 Abu Road Mohit Sharma sentenced him. Special public prosecutor Haseeb Ahmed Siddiqui appeared for the case. On March 17, 2015, in the Ashram Express train, duty officer Jabbersingh Head Constable at GRP police station Abu Road was suspicious of suspicious objects in a big iron box and three bags in the possession of the passengers.
During the search, 10 kg of hashish was found, which was recovered in the form of laddus. Shankar Prasad Suman had supplied the goods to both the passengers Yusuf Hussain, son of Hussain, resident of Veraval and Rajan Kukreja, son of Nehalchandra Khatri, resident of Delhi. Yusuf Hussain and Rajan Kukreja were found guilty and sentenced to 12 years rigorous imprisonment each and a fine of Rs 1 lakh. The accused Shankar Prasad Suman is absconding in the case.
