Two arrested in anchor’s murder case, lover turned out to be the mastermind of the incident

Korba. The secret of the disappearance and murder of the missing anchor has been revealed five years ago. In the case, the police have arrested the anchor’s boyfriend Jim Chalachak and one of his accomplices. Police investigation has revealed that the accused had so far trapped more than 200 girls in his trap. The accused used to change girls. The deceased anchor Salma Sultan was also trapped in the love trap by the accused. When Salma forced the accused to marry her, she strangled him to death in a chunri to get rid of him. After the murder, his body was buried. The accused was hiding in Delhi by switching off his mobile to escape from the police. Under the leadership of IPS Robinson Gudiya (CSP Darri), the accused was nabbed on his arrival at Korba. Objectionable photo-video and hard disk of several girls have been recovered from the accused. Presently the police is interrogating the accused and soon the matter will also be disclosed by the Korba police.

In fact, Salma Sultan, a class 10 student from Kusmunda area of Korba, mysteriously went missing in 2018. Two months after she went missing, Salma’s family lodged a missing complaint at the Kusmunda police station. Even after police investigation and extensive search, the anchor could not be traced. The family members also made every possible effort. Five years passed like this, but no clue of Salma was found. Meanwhile, the police got information about Salma’s love affair with Salma’s friend and gym operator Madhur Sahu, a resident of Bilaspur. The police came to know that Madhur comes from Bilaspur and opens a gym in Korba and operates it. Along with this, he was known to Salma. After this information, the police called Madhur’s maid for questioning. The maid exposed the whole incident and told the police that Salma was murdered in 2018. Some other youths including Salma’s friend gym operator are also involved in the murder. The suspects were taken into custody after police received information from the maid. During strict interrogation, the suspects confessed to killing Salma and burying her body near the Bhavani temple on the Korba-Dari road. The main accused gym operator had absconded since the incident. The accused arrested in the month of June told that the place where Salma was buried has now been converted into a four-lane road. Police will take permission from the court to search the body and then the body will be removed from the spot.
