Two brothers arrested in farmer’s murder case

Bilaspur: A farmer who came from Rajasthan and was doing farming by building a farm house in Chhattisgarh was abducted. On the way to Jabalpur, he was murdered and the dead body was thrown. Police have arrested two brothers involved in the incident, two other accused are absconding. Bhagwan Bishnoi of Rajasthan had built a farm house by purchasing 60 acres of land in Bansajhal village near Takhatpur. Here he also used to cultivate vegetables. Apart from Chhattisgarh, vegetables were also supplied to other states.

A few days ago, a businessman Sagam Ansari came from Jabalpur with Matador to buy vegetables. Sagam had a dispute with God regarding the price of vegetables and he refused to fill the goods. This led to a fight between the two. When the dispute escalated, Bhagwan thrashed Sagam Ansari. Coming under the pressure of God, Sagam got the vegetables put in the car and reached back to Jabalpur. Meanwhile, on September 3, Lord Bishnoi suddenly disappeared. His brother Shravan lodged a missing report at Junapara police post and informed about the fight with Sagam Ansari.

A police team left for Jabalpur for investigation. Police took Sanam Ansari’s brother Gulsher Ahmed into custody after questioning from there. Gulsher told that Lord Vishnoi had assaulted his brother, for which he reached Bansajhal to take revenge. He was also accompanied by Sagam, transporter Anu Gaur and Gulshan. Calling him out of the farm house, he forced Bhagwan Bishnoi to sit in his car and took him towards Jabalpur. On the way, he beat Lord Bishnoi to death near Kunda in Kawardha district. After this, they threw the dead body on the roadside and returned to Jabalpur. Police have arrested both the brothers. Transporters Anu Gaur and Gulshan are being searched. The car used in the incident has also been seized.
