Two crocodiles die after being hit by a train
Bettiah (IANS). Two crocodiles died after being bitten by a train near Mangalpur Asauni Halt in West Champaran district of Bihar. According to the Railway Police, the dead bodies of two crocodiles were seen by railway employees on Monday near Mangalpur Ausani Halt between Bagaha-Valmikinagar Road railway station on Gorakhpur and Narkatiaganj railway section.
After this, this information was given to the Forest Department officials. After receiving the information, the Forest Department team reached the Bagaha Forest Range Office, took the dead crocodile into their custody and after post-mortem, both were buried.
Bagaha Forest Range Officer Sunil Kumar said that bodies of two crocodiles were found on the railway track. Investigation is being done to find out which train the crocodile was bitten by.
