Two drivers drowned in the drain, bodies of both found today

Shakti: The bodies of two youths who drowned in the Bagan drain of Malkhauda area of the district were recovered on Wednesday. Both the youths had gone into deep water while bathing on Tuesday, due to which they died. Alam Khan and Ifran Khan from Bihar were drivers in a local transport company. On Tuesday at 1 o’clock in the afternoon, both of them went to take bath in the Bagan drain of Kanidih-Nagjhar. While bathing, both the youths went into deep water and were not found after that. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot.

With the help of SDRF, rescue operation of both the youth was started. As it was night, the SDRF team stopped its operation. Rescue operation was started again on Wednesday morning. After a search operation that lasted for more than 20 hours, the body of Ifran Khan was found on the banks of a pond in Navapara village, three kilometers away from the drain. A little ahead, the dead body of another youth, Alam Khan, was found.
