Two gangsters arrested in Chhag, country made pistol and walkie talkie set recovered by police
Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi: Two gangsters from Uttar Pradesh have been arrested in Gaurela Pendra Marwahi district, it was suspected that they were planning to go to Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh and commit some major crime. Country-made pistol and cartridges have also been recovered from the accused.
When Gaurela Police and Excise Department stopped and searched a suspicious motorcycle during checking in Piparkhunti, two of them were found with a country-made pistol, four live cartridges and a set of walkie talkie. On which the police immediately laid siege and arrested these two accused and during interrogation they told that they were going to sell pistol and cartridges to Raipur, however, the police did not believe this statement and started further investigation.
While giving a press conference, District Superintendent of Police Yogesh Patel told that, one of the two accused is Santosh Mishra, a resident of Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh and the other is Rajesh Aggarwal, a resident of Prayagraj, who were planning to go to Raipur and commit some crime. . The bike in which the accused were traveling was also found to be stolen, which was stolen from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The range of walkie-talkie to communicate with each other was two and a half kilometers. The police is busy gathering more information about both the accused by contacting the Uttar Pradesh Police. Initial investigation has revealed that two cases have been registered against the accused in Prayagraj police station of Uttar Pradesh. At present, both the accused have been arrested under the Arms Act and sent to jail in judicial custody.
