Two more cases of fraud registered against swindler Skoda

Fazilka: The process of registering fraud cases against swindler Amandeep Kamboj alias Aman Skoda continues in Fazilka district after his arrest by Fazilka police from Varanasi (UP) on March 14 this year.

Five new cases of fraud have been registered following his arrest after two more cases were registered today. Interestingly, these incidents of fraud had happened a few years ago. Jarnail Singh, resident of village Khubban of Abohar sub-division, has alleged that Skoda, resident of Chak Punnanwala of Jalalabad sub-division and his relative Satbir of the same village have defrauded him of Rs 85 lakh in the name of getting him a job. His son-in-law Jagdev Singh joined the Punjab Police as a sub-inspector but did not do so.

In another case, Gurvinder Singh, a resident of Muktsar district, alleged that the two accused demanded Rs 85 lakh to recruit his acquaintance’s brother as a PPS officer. He paid Rs 30 lakh but did not get the job.
A case has been registered against the accused under sections 420 and 406 of IPC. Notably, Skoda is already facing more than three dozen fraud cases in Punjab and was arrested from Varanasi.
