Two real brothers died while swimming at Chhath Ghat
Patna: On the last day of Chhath, the great festival of folk faith, two real brothers died by drowning in Patna’s Brahmapur pond. The pond was converted into Chhath Ghat where Chhath devotees offered Arghya to Lord Surya. After the offer of Arghya, when Chhathvarti came out of Chhath Ghat, many children came to take bath in the pond.
Meanwhile, two brothers drowned in the deep water of the pond and both died. When the family members came to know about the incident, they ran towards the pond and were stunned to see the dead bodies of the two brothers. This incident of extinguishing two lamps of the house happened in Khemnichak area of Ramakrishna Nagar police station area.
Where the simultaneous death of two brothers created a stir in the area. People became angry due to the incident and started creating ruckus. As soon as information about the incident was received, Ramakrishna Nagar police station reached the spot and with great effort pacified the people. The deceased children were identified as Sahil and Saurabh. The bodies of both were found in Brahmapur pond.
