Two sharpshooters caught in Delhi
New Delhi. The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested two sharpshooters of Dinesh Karala and Jitendra Gogi gang, wanted in an attempt to murder and extortion case. The sharpshooters were identified as Kartik (22) and Pradeep (21), both residents of Haryana.
Recently, on November 7, Karthik and Pradeep had reached Om Vihar area of Uttam Nagar and opened fire on the owner of a property dealer (Gaurav Homes and Builder). The bullet hit the glass door of his office. He also left a letter there on the instructions of Dinesh Karala.
In the letter, they asked him to meet Dinesh Karala and also threatened that if he did not meet “Dinesh Bhai”, the person sitting inside the office would be shot and grenades would be thrown at his construction sites. While fleeing from the spot, the shooters fired several rounds in the air to create fear among the people.
Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravindra Singh Yadav said, “During the investigation, a specific input was received that Dinesh Karala, an active shooter of the Jitendra Gogi gang, involved in the sensational attempt murder and extortion case of Bindapur police station, was involved in a heinous crime in Dwarka area. Will come to Delhi through Jharoda Kalan Nala to do so.”
After this a trap was laid and both were caught. Dinesh Karala is lodged in Mandoli jail in MCOCA, murder and other heinous cases. After the elimination of gang leader Jitendra Gogi, Dinesh Karala took the responsibility of the gang and started operating his gang from jail.
Yadav said, “Earlier, he handed over the responsibility of running the gang to Deepak Boxer, but after the arrest of Deepak Boxer, Dinesh Karala again took command of the gang and collected ransom money from betting operators, bootleggers, property dealers, builders etc. Started asking.
He assigns his associates, who are out of jail, the task of recruiting unemployed youth who need money. Both the arrested accused were also recruited by associates of Dinesh Karala to carry out the given task. ,
