Two smugglers carrying ganja on bike arrested

Raigarh. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel, special vigil is being kept by cyber cell and team of police stations by appointing informers to curb illegal drug smuggling from Orissa. In the same sequence, on the evening of 27th February, police station in-charge Pusaur Inspector Sitaram Dhruv got information from the informer that two boys on a Platina motorcycle were coming from Orissa towards Raigarh via Pusaur with ganja. On the guidance of the police station in-charge and after informing the senior officers, blockade was done on various routes along with the team of cyber cell and Pusaur police station.

During the blockade, when a police team interrogated two suspicious youths coming in a black colored Platina CG 13 AQ- 3103 near Babadera (Dhaba Tikra) village Lara, both of them gave their names as Ravi Nag and Arun Jagat resident of Kandapalla police station Ambabhauna district Bargarh ( Orissa) who were duly searched after being informed about the blockade works. 6 kg of narcotic ganja was recovered inside a black colored bag kept with the suspects.

On strictly interrogating the suspects, they told them to bring ganja for illegal sale. Accused Ravi Nag father Thakur Ram Nag age 25 years, Arun Jagat father Shiva Jagat age 20 years both residents of Kandapalla police station Ambabhauna district Bargarh (Orissa) seized 6 Kg ganja and Platina bike from the accused under section 20 (B) NDPS in police station Pusaur. Action has been taken under the Act. In the Ganja Raid proceedings, police station in-charge Pusaur Inspector Sitaram Dhruv, Sub Inspector Kundan Lal Gaur, Assistant Sub Inspector Umashankar Viswal, Koso Singh Jagat, constables Rajkumar Oraon, Ramesh Nishad, Oceanik Viswal and Cyber Cell head constables Brijlal Gurjar, Dhananjay Singh, Mahesh Panda. And Vikas Pradhan were included.
