Two Software Engineers Died After Drinking Alcohol Heavily
Two software engineers died under suspicious circumstances during the Sankranti festival. The youths who had come home for the festival had a party and both of them had consumed alcohol. They lost consciousness and passed away. This tragic incident took place in Kambhamvaripalli, Annamaya district.
Going into details, two young men, Manikumar (35) and Pushparaj (26), from Bandavaddipalle village in Kambhamvaripalle mandal of Annamayya district, working as software employees in Chennai and Bengaluru, came to the village for the Sankranthi festival. During the festival, they had a party with six friends. At that time, both Manikumar and Pushparaj drank alcohol competitively. Due to this, both of them fell unconscious. When their friends noticed this, they were rushed to the hospital, but they died on the way. Manikumar has a wife and a two-year-old son, while Pushparaj is not yet married.
The suspicious deaths of two youths during the festival have caused a stir locally. There were also allegations that they died due to adulterated alcohol. However, the police have initially confirmed that they died due to excessive alcohol consumption. The police found that the two had consumed a total of 19 Budweiser tins of beer together between 3 pm and 7.30 pm on Saturday. The police said that they had suffered severe dehydration due to excessive alcohol consumption. Due to this, the condition of both of them has deteriorated. The post-mortem report also stated that excessive alcohol consumption was the cause.
