
Ultraviolette has extended the introductory offer that was offered on the recently launched Shockwave and Tesseract electric two wheelers. The Shockwave e-motorcycle and Tesseract e-scooter get an introductory price of Rs 1.2 lakh and Rs 1.5 lakh. Now, Ultraviolette has extended the introductory price on both the e-bikes.
The Ultraviolette Tesseract which made its debut as its first electric scooter has made 20,000 bookings in first 48 hours. The company has now extended the introductory price to the first 50,000 bookings. This means that the buyers who will book the e-scooter for next 30,000 units will get it at Rs 1.2 lakh. The company had earlier mentioned that post the introductory offer the price will be set to Rs 1.45 lakh.
The Ultraviolette Tesseract is claimed to offer IDC range of 261km and the acceleration of the scooter is 0-60kmph in 2.9seconds. Ultraviolette has claimed that a user has to pay just Rs 100 (for charging) in order to travel 500km on this scooter. The Tesseract scooter offers 20.4hp of power and is claimed to achieve a target of 125kmph.
Apart from Ultraviolette Tesseract, the Shockwave electric bike gets an introductory price of Rs 1.5 lakh. Post this introductory offer, the Shockwave will cost Rs 1.75 lakh. The company had reserved the introductory price for first one thousand bookings only. The offer has been extended this offer to extra thousand bookings.
In terms of specs, the Shockwave offers output of 14.7hp while the acceleration of 0-60kmph can be achieved in 2.9 seconds. The electric motorcycle weights just 120kg.
