Rajnandgaon. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Dongargarh on February 6 on the occasion of the first death anniversary of Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji. Shah will inaugurate 108 footprints of Acharya Shri Ji and perform Bhoomi Pujan of the proposed Samadhi. Shah will attend the program for an hour on February 6.
Acharya’s death anniversary is being celebrated as the first Samadhi Smriti Mahotsav from February 01 to 06 at Chandragiri in Dongargarh. There will be different programs every day. It is being told that Shah has given approval to attend the program. Therefore, the district administration and top police officials have started preparing to make the security arrangements in Chandragiri foolproof. Collector Sanjay Agarwal, IG Deepak Jha and SP Mohit Garg have also held a meeting regarding security related matters. Dongargarh SDOP Ashish Kunjam is also making the soldiers ready on the basis of local conditions. It is being told that people of Jain community from all over the country will participate in this Smriti Mahotsav. Last year, Acharya had gone to heaven in Chandragiri.
