Chennai: Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi has appealed to people to stay safe amid heavy rains and strong winds in Chennai.

Cyclone Michong has caused severe water logging and floods at various places, disrupting normal life and creating a worrying situation.

In this regard, Ravi has said in a statement that the eastern coastal districts have been badly affected by Cyclone Michong.

The Central Government and the State Government are monitoring the situation at the highest level to provide essential services and ensure the safety of the people.

People should follow the instructions accordingly and stay safe at home until the situation improves.
