UPITS 2024 Roadshow concluded in the national capital
New Delhi: The Government of Uttar Pradesh and India Expo Center & Mart jointly organized a roadshow in the national capital on July 15, 2024 at Hotel Royal Plaza, 19, Ashoka Road, Connaught Place, New Delhi, taking forward the preparations for the UP International Trade Show 2024. This is the biggest sourcing event of the state so far, which is being organized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in collaboration with India Expo Center and Mart. The UPITS 2024 Roadshow has been organized to attract more and more people, especially domestic buyers, to the event. This roadshow is an important milestone for UPITS 2024, which is scheduled from September 25 to 29, 2024.
It is noteworthy that UP International Trade Show is an ambitious initiative of the State Government to promote trade and business in various sectors of Uttar Pradesh. Keeping in mind the unprecedented success of UP International Trade Show (UPITS) 2023, which was inaugurated by Hon’ble President Smt. Draupadi Murmu and attended by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath, the second edition is being organized. The event underlined the emerging strength of Uttar Pradesh on the global stage. The first edition attracted over 500 foreign buyers, 70,000 domestic buyers and attracted over 300,000 visitors in total. Emphasizing the state’s commitment to the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat vision’, success stories of schemes like One District, One Product (ODOP) were shared, which led to significant growth in exports and employment generation and helped Uttar Pradesh move towards the goal of becoming a trillion dollar economy envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Also, the first edition served to lay a solid foundation for the second edition of UPITS.
