Uproar in Raipur Corporation, general body meeting postponed

Raipur. BJP councilors created a ruckus in the general meeting of Raipur Municipal Corporation when they came to protest with Kanwar. The general meeting was adjourned till Monday amid uproar by BJP councilors over water crisis, bad road and water logging. After the adjournment of the general meeting, the BJP councilors protested under the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and accused the corporation mayor and chairman of running away from the discussion. Along with this, he was accused of postponing the General Assembly due to the Congress meeting. The general assembly of the Municipal Corporation was called after 4 months. Municipal Corporation Chairman Pramod Dubey termed the performance of BJP councilors as shameful and said that they have behaved wrongly. We urged that the demand should be made constitutionally. The house is meant to solve the problem, but the BJP councilors created ruckus in the house.

On the other hand, Municipal Corporation Leader of Opposition Meenal Choubey said that Congress is unable to answer corruption, hence postponed the meeting. He said that the meeting was organized after 4 months. The mayor wanted to go to the work of the organization, so postponed the meeting. If Congress councilors have the guts, show us by sacking them.
