Used to roam around selling illegal liquor, Kochiya arrested
Raigarh. On the direction of Superintendent of Police Raigarh, Chakradharnagar Police’s action to curb the sale of illegal liquor is continuing. In the afternoon, Chakradharnagar police station in-charge Inspector Prashant Rao received information from an informer about illegal liquor sale in village Sambalpuri. On receiving the information, the police station in-charge dispatched staff from the police station for action.
The accused, Parmanand Bhoy, father Tunu Ram Bhoy, aged 42 years, was arrested by the team of Chakradharnagar Police for selling liquor illegally to Sakin Sambalpuri Police Station Chakradharnagar, District Raigarh in the garden behind Amit Hotel in village Sambalpuri, a total of 08 liters of Mahua filled in three two-litre plastic bottles. Caught with liquor worth Rs 800/-. Action has been taken against accused Parmanand Bhoy under Section 34(2), 59(A) of Excise Act in Chakradharnagar police station. Head constable Ravi Sai, constable Abhay Yadav, Chandra Kumar Banjare and lady constable Anita Beck were involved in the liquor raid.
