Used to steal diesel by breaking truck tank, police caught the gang
Rajnandgaon. Rajnandgaon police has succeeded in arresting the inter-state thief gang that steals diesel from trucks parked on the highway. Police have recovered 250 liters of diesel from the possession of the accused. For some time, the police was receiving complaints of diesel theft from trucks parked on the National Highway in Lalbagh police station area of Rajnandgaon city. The police formed a team in search of diesel thieves and started locating the accused. Meanwhile, Mandeep Singh, operator of Daman Transport, filed a report in Lalbagh police station that on January 17, diesel was stolen by breaking the tank of his truck parked in front of Transport Nagar and the accused fled in a car.
With the help of cyber team, the police started searching for these accused and on the information of the informer, they laid siege and detained four people. The arrested accused told the police that they steal diesel from parked trucks and this entire work is done as per the instructions of Bhilai resident Pawan Kumar Sao. In the press conference, Rajnandgaon Additional Superintendent of Police Rahul Dev Sharma told that the mastermind of diesel theft, Pawan Kumar Sao, steals diesel from trucks parked on the highway. For this he had kept four accused from Madhya Pradesh with him.
