Uttarakhand Chief Minister Dhami reached Dubai, NRIs gave warm welcome at the airport
Dehradun: State Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Dubai on Monday on a three-day visit to UAE. The NRIs gave him a warm welcome at the airport. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his gratitude to all the NRIs living in Dubai.
Chief Minister Dhami will meet industrialists and NRIs in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) under the ‘Invest in Uttarakhand’ campaign. Chief Minister Dhami will also participate in the meetings organized on investment possibilities in Uttarakhand.
Chief Minister Dhami said that Uttarakhand is not only the land of Gods but also the land of yoga and spirituality. Uttarakhand is also a symbol of the country’s rich cultural heritage.
He said that we are proud that our roots are linked to Uttarakhand. He called upon all the immigrant Uttarakhandis to visit their state Uttarakhand once a year. This will also inspire their future generations to connect with their motherland.
Chief Minister Dhami said that our migrant brothers have brought glory to themselves as well as their motherland with their talent and hard work. It is a matter of honor for all of us. To establish better coordination between our immigrant brothers and sisters and the Government of Uttarakhand and to take prompt action on their investment proposals, Uttarakhand Immigrant Cell has been created in the Chief Minister’s Office.
The Chief Minister said, till now MoUs on investment proposals worth Rs 40 thousand crores have been signed. Our target is to invest Rs 2.5 lakh crore in the Global Investors Summit. (IANS).
