Veterans will brainstorm on Lok Sabha elections
Shimla. Congress’s churning on all four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal will take place on January 16. In this meeting of the organization, along with State President Pratibha Singh, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, the leaders who lost the assembly elections this time will also be present in this meeting.
It has been made mandatory for block and district heads to be present in the meeting. State Congress Organization General Secretary Rajneesh Kimta has said that this time Congress will set a new record by winning all four seats in the state in the Lok Sabha elections.
Mr. Kimta said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, ministers, MLAs and leaders who were candidates of the party in the assembly elections will be present in the meeting to be held under the chairmanship of the State Congress President on January 16. He said that the arrangements for the meeting of district and block presidents to be held in the presence of leaders have been reviewed.
He said that in this meeting, necessary guidelines will be given to the party officials regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and State Congress President Pratibha Singh will guide the meeting. He said that the State Congress is fully prepared for the Lok Sabha elections and on the guidelines of the All India Congress, State Congress leaders are to be given responsibilities for these elections.
