Video of young man running away after stealing pump goes viral, arrested

Korba. The police has arrested the accused who stole submersible pump from Dadar Housing Board Colony of the district. Live video of the theft has surfaced. Stolen goods have been recovered from the accused. The matter is of Manikpur Chowki area.

Police said that the name of the accused is Budhram (26), who tried to cross the pump in a very vicious manner, but someone made a video of his act and made it viral. After receiving the complaint, the police started investigation and arrested the accused. Police have recovered the stolen goods from the accused. After presenting him in the court, he has been sent to jail.

Local people said that incidents of theft were continuously being reported in the Housing Board Colony, due to which people had become very worried. Even after continuous surveillance, the thief was not being caught. When the young man went to commit theft on Thursday morning, the villagers were hiding around the Housing Board to catch him. As soon as he was running away from the spot after stealing, people caught him. Earlier, people had also made a video of him stealing.
