Vijay Antony’s daughter Meera kills self at residence

CHENNAI: Tamil Actor and Music Director Vijay Antony’s teenage daughter died by suicide at the family’s Alwarpet residence during the early hours of Tuesday.

The 17 year old, Meera was studying class 12 at a private school in the city.

She was found unconscious in her room by the family members and was rushed to a private hospital nearby where she was declared as brought dead, police sources said.

According to sources, it is reported that the class 12 student was battling stress, which led her to taking this extreme step.

On information, Teynampet Police secured the body and sent it to a government hospital for post mortem.
