Villagers boycotted Lok Sabha elections, if there is no road and electricity then there is no vote
Ramanujganj. A warning has been given to boycott elections in Ramanujganj assembly constituency in the Lok Sabha elections. The villagers have written slogans of no road, no vote on the walls of their houses. On one hand, the administration is making efforts for voter awareness, while on the other hand, villagers are talking about boycotting voting.
The matter is of Jawrahi village of Ramanujganj assembly, where the villagers have boycotted the vote by writing slogans on the walls of the house. Such a step has been taken regarding the demand for roads and electricity. According to the villagers, an assurance was given for the installation of roads and electricity during the assembly elections.
The thing to note is that till now no development work has been done by the administration. Now the villagers have been forced to adopt the path of vote boycott. At present the district administration team is giving advice to the villagers. But, the villagers are adamant on their demand.
