On the initiative of the CM Camp Office located in Bagia, the Sub-Divisional Revenue Officer of Bagia has issued an order to operate a Public Ration Distribution Shop (PDS) in Madiyajharia. This has given great relief to the villagers from running 8 kilometers to get ration. Expressing gratitude to the CM Camp Office for this initiative, the villagers have submitted a thank you memorandum to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. CM Camp Office
It is noteworthy that two days ago, the villagers from Madiyajharia, a dependent village of Gram Panchayat Kenadand of Kansabel block of the district, had submitted a memorandum in the CM Camp. In this, they had told that they have to run 8 kilometers every month to get the ration given by the government under the Public Distribution System. Be it the months of scorching heat or rainy season, they cross Chetba, Thuthrudand and reach Bandarchuan, but due to evening, they are often returned empty-handed. In view of this problem, they had requested to operate a ration shop in Madiyajharia itself.
Taking action on this, the Gram Panchayat had sent a proposal to the administration. After inspecting this proposal, the Food Department has also sent a report to the administration. But the operation of the shop could not be started in the village. The villagers were facing problems due to this. The CM Camp Office had directed the district administration to resolve this problem of the villagers, on which the district administration took cognizance and now after the order of the SDM, the operation of the government ration shop will start soon in Madiyajharia. The villagers will now get ration in their village itself, due to which there is a wave of happiness among the villagers.
