Vivo X Fold 5 India launch details revealed, will offer 80W charging support

Vivo X Fold 5 will be launching in India very soon and the launch in China is scheduled on June 25. The foldable smartphone was spotted on the BIS platform recently. According to report by 91mobiles, Vivo is planning to launch the X Fold 5 in India during 2nd week of July.

According to reports, Vivo X Fold 5 will launch in India between July 10th and July 15th. The exact launch date is unknown. The older generation of the foldable device was Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. The vanilla X Fold 3 did not launch in India.

The Vivo X Fold 5 will pack a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 40W wireless charging support. When it comes to the battery backup on foldable device, it is the X Fold 5 that will offer largest battery and fastest charging support.

When it comes to dimensions, the Vivo X Fold 5 will be 2mm thinner and 20g lighter than the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. The device will offer 11.2mm when folded and 5.2mm when unfolded.

The foldable smartphone is also confirmed to get IPX8/IPX9/IPX9+ rating for water resistance. The foldable device will offer 8T LTPO panel for primary display and cover display. The local peak brightness is 4500.

Camera setup on the smartphone includes triple-camera with Zeiss lenses. The device will also offer a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Colour options on the device will include green, titanium, and white colours.
