Vivo Y100 4G Powered By Snapdragon 685 And 80W Fast Charging Launched
Smartphone manufacturer Vivo has launched Vivo Y100 4G in some selected markets of Asia. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 685 SoC and is a rebranded version of the Vivo V30 Lite 4G. Rebranding of the smartphone is done for selected markets.
The design of the smartphone offers similarities with other devices of the company. However, most of the smartphones are powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The Vivo Y100 4G gets a primary 50MP camera, 8 MP ultra wide camera and a 2MP camera. The front camera of the device is housed in the punch hole of the display. Speaking about the display of the smartphone, the Vivo Y100 4G gets a 6.67” AMOLED screen and a battery capacity of 5000mAh. There is an 80W fast charging available on the device.
Vivo has claimed that the device can be fast charged up to 80 percent in 0.5 hours. Some other highlights of the device include Funtouch 14 based on Android, IP54 rating, stereo speakers and much more. Colour options for the smartphone include Crystal Black as well as Breeze Green. The price for the 8GB + 256 GB variant is around $250.
Meanwhile in India, Vivo has launched Vivo V30e on May 2 and the device will go on sale in India from May 9. The Vivo V30e smartphone offers a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED touchscreen and is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. The RAM of the smartphone is 8GB while storage is either 128GB or 256GB. The device gets Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 out of the box. Vivo offers three years of Android update and four years of security updates for the device. While the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 27,999, the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 29,999.
