Volkswagen Taigun will become cheaper by Rs 2 lakh in August

This August, the Tigun is getting a huge discount of up to Rs 2 lakh. This discount includes cash discounts as well as exchange and loyalty bonuses. Discounts on Volkswagen Taigun in August 2024
The maximum benefit of up to Rs 2.28 lakh is available on the MY2023 stock of the Taigun SUV. The MY2023 stock of the SUV is available in 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and manual gearbox variants. Meanwhile, Volkswagen is offering discounts of up to Rs 1.2 lakh on the 1.0-litre TSI version and up to Rs 1.87 lakh on the 1.5 TSI model. With the cash discount, the ex-showroom price of the entry-level Taigun has come down from Rs 11.70 lakh to Rs 10.90 lakh.
It will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota
Hyrider, Maruti Grand Vitara and the upcoming Tata Curve and Citroen Basalt. Meanwhile, the company has also reduced the price of the Virtus by up to Rs 1.25 lakh with total discounts and benefits. This maximum discount is available on the mid-spec 1.0 TSI Highline AT variant. At the same time, the 1.5 TSI-equipped Virtus is getting a total benefit of up to Rs 70,000.
The Virtus and Taigun are powered by 115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines along with their respective manual and automatic gearbox options. Like the Taigun, the cash discount on the Virtus has brought down its entry ex-showroom price from Rs 11.56 lakh to Rs 10.90 lakh.
