Voters Slam Congress Candidate In Yadadri Bhongir Municipality

In the recent municipal elections, Swaroop Rani contested as a Congress candidate from Ward 1 of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri Municipality and lost. Unable to bear the defeat, the Congress candidate’s family members came to the voters’ houses and made a fuss. They pressured the voters to return the money, sarees, and hot boxes that were distributed.

Voters, fed up with the behavior of the Congress candidate’s family members, confronted them in droves. They asked back, “Who asked you to give it to me?” Unable to answer, Swaroop Rani and her family members left the place.
