Waiter murdered for refusing to make roti, arrested
Gurgaon. When a young man washing utensils at a dhaba in Cyber City Gurgaon refused to make roti, the waiter working at the dhaba attacked him on the head and killed him. After the incident the accused fled from the spot. When the dhaba owner reached the dhaba in the morning, he saw the dead body in a bloody condition and informed the police. Police took the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem and started searching for the accused. Within a few hours of the incident, the police arrested the accused from Old Faridabad.
According to the police, Deepak told that he runs Agarwal Dhaba near Rama Garden. Darshan Lal, a resident of Jammu, used to wash utensils at his dhaba. Karan, a resident of Kasganj, UP, was the waiter at his place.
Both of them used to stay at the dhaba at night. He told the police that when he came to his dhaba on the morning of November 10, he saw Darshan Lal lying on the bed in a bloody condition and Karan was absconding. On this he informed the police. Police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem. The police investigated the case and caught the accused within a few hours.
During interrogation, accused Karan told that on the night of 9th November, he had consumed alcohol at a dhaba while sitting with Darshan Lal. After drinking alcohol, he asked Darshan Lal to make roti, but Darshan Lal refused. On this, Karan hit Darshan Lal on the head with a stove and wood and ran away from there. After committing the crime, he was going to his village to escape from the police. But the police arrested him before he could reach the village. Police have recovered 1 mobile phone from the possession of the accused. The police is investigating the matter
