Wanted arrested for killing teenager in Delhi
New Delhi (IANS) | A 22-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly killing a teenager during a birthday celebration at a cafe in Delhi’s Kalkaji area. An official gave this information on Friday. The accused has been identified as Aman alias Babulal, a resident of Sudhar Camp, Kalkaji. A reward of Rs 25,000 was also announced for information leading to his arrest, the official said. On May 6, the police registered a case on the complaint of Rahul Joshi, a resident of Nehru Camp, Govindpuri, Delhi. In it, he had alleged that he along with his friends had attended his cousin’s birthday party at TDM Cafe, Kalkaji, Delhi.
Meanwhile, a boy named Gulshan came there with his companions and started beating up the person named Kunal. Gulshan stabs Kunal and one of his accomplices, Aman, fires at Kunal and escapes from the spot. Kunal died during treatment.
Special Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Ravindra Singh Yadav said an input was received that Aman, wanted in a murder case, was hiding somewhere in Delhi’s Sunlight Colony and could be nabbed from there.
Thereafter, a trap was laid in Sunlight Colony area and the main accused Aman was nabbed, Yadav said.
During interrogation, Aman revealed that Dinesh Pahadi had enmity with Niranjan over selling smack in the area, so he formed a separate group.
One day Dinesh Pahadi instructs Aman that Niranjan and his group members Aryan, Saifi, Kunal will gather at TDM Cafe, Govindpuri to celebrate birthday. Accordingly, Aman along with other accomplices namely Bhima, Akash, Arif, Uday, Aman Khan, Sachin and Gulshan reached TDM Cafe where they attacked them and Aman fired at Kunal who later died.
