Warm welcome to Mandi’s talents
Market. Twenty cadets from Mandi district have returned after participating in the Republic Day parade in Shimla. On the occasion of Republic Day celebrations, these cadets brought glory to District Mandi and their school by saluting His Excellency Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at the historic Ridge Ground.
NSS District Coordinator Lalita Kumari said that a ten-day state level Republic Day Parade camp was organized by National Service Scheme plus two cells of Himachal Pradesh at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Lalpani, Shimla. One hundred volunteer students participated in this camp.
The main objective of the camp is to prepare the volunteers for the salute at the state level Republic Day celebrations and for dedication in the interest of the nation. Twenty volunteers from district Mandi participated in the camp.
In which Monica, Kashish, Uma, Muskaan, Khushboo, Sonika, Manjali, Simran, Kiran, Tamanna from Mahadev Vidyalaya, Sheetal, Akshit Thakur, Sumit Thakur, Ayzna, Ankit Thakur, Aman Thakur, Kartik, Lalit Thakur, Krish Kumar Thakur and Aditya. Rana participated.
He told that all the volunteers also got the opportunity to meet the Honorable Governor at Raj Bhavan. On this occasion, volunteers also presented NSS song, Sirmauri Nati and folk dance Luddi of Mandi district under the leadership of Lalita Kumari. Honorable Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla interacted with the volunteers there.
