The weather gave some relief in the state on Tuesday and Wednesday but waterlogging like situation has occurred in many districts including Barabanki and Lucknow.
According to the Meteorological Department, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Hardoi, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, A warning of thunder and lightning has been issued in Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in Banda, Chitrakoot, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas.
Before this, from Sunday night till Monday morning, due to the collision of western disturbance and easterly winds, the rain had become stormy on Sunday night. Most areas of the state were flooded. During this period, winds blew at a speed of 60-80 km. 23 people had died within two days due to rain-related incidents.
