When a different scene was seen in the G20 conference, the Chinese team came under suspicion
New Delhi: Before the G20 conference, Indian officials were struggling to get a consensus on the declaration. Meanwhile, a strange drama was seen in a five star hotel. China always remains under suspicion due to its actions. The Chinese delegation that came to participate in the G20 conference also did something similar due to which India’s security agencies became alert. Actually, the members of the Chinese team had brought a strange kind of bag with them. Its shape was also not like a common suitcase. The team was staying at the Taj Palace Hotel.
Keeping diplomatic protocol in mind, the Chinese delegation was allowed to take suitcases to the hotel. According to the report of Times of India, a hotel employee informed that there was some suspicious device in these suitcases. After this the Chinese delegation was asked to keep those suitcases in the scanner. On one hand the security agencies were adamant on this matter and on the other hand the Chinese members were reluctant. The debate regarding this continued for a long time. Even after repeated requests, they did not agree to get it investigated.
The security personnel learned that the Chinese delegation had brought its own private internet connection. However the hotel denied this. Hotel sources said that the drama regarding these suitcases continued for about 12 hours and after this the Chinese security personnel agreed to remove these devices from the hotel and send them to the Chinese Embassy.
The President of Brazil was also staying in Hotel Taj. Sources said that Chinese security personnel did not want to check these equipment. At the same time, Indian security personnel were adamant about investigating him. It was told that a team of security personnel kept guard outside their rooms for 12 hours. Regarding these devices, top officials say that it cannot be said that they were any intelligence devices because they did not get a chance to test them.
An intelligence officer said that this device could be a kind of jammer. Let us tell you that Chinese President Xi Jinping did not come to the G20 conference. He sent his premier Li Qiang. This time Lee came not by special aircraft but by chartered flight. Indian agencies were surprised to see this also.
