Dhamtari. The accused who forcibly made physical relations with the victim by luring her with marriage and threatened to kill her is now in police custody. The victim came to Police Station City Kotwali Dhamtari and alleged that the accused Lokesh Devangan father Bhim Devangan age 38 years resident Rampur Ward Dhamtari raped her by luring her with marriage and forcibly made physical relations with her continuously from 20.08.22 to 16.11.22 and threatened to kill her when she asked for marriage. On the written report of the victim, a crime was registered in Police Station City Kotwali Dhamtari under FIR No. 466/24 Section 376,506 IPC and taken into investigation.

During the investigation, the statement of the victim and witnesses and the scene of incident were inspected. The address of the accused was searched and questioned, after which the accused confessed to the crime, medical examination of the accused was done and on finding sufficient evidence against the accused, the accused was duly arrested and sent on judicial remand.
