Woman and child died in a horrific road accident
Dausa. A woman and a girl child were killed, while 19 people were injured in a horrific road accident on the Jaipur-Agra National Highway 21 passing through Dausa district. The accident took place late last night near the Medical College on the Agra Highway when all the people aboard the jugaad were returning to their village after participating in a program organized in kinship. Hearing the screams of Jugaad riders in the late night accident, when the people around reached the spot, Sadar police station with the help of people admitted the injured to the district hospital, from where 6 injured were referred to Jaipur.
All the people were returning after giving a guarantee, the police told that a family of Atta Jhapdawas village had gone to Maheshwara Khurd village with Jamna, where the trolley driver suddenly cut off the jugaad near Bhandarej turn, due to which the jugaad overturned uncontrollably. The accident was so gruesome that the Jugaad overturned several times, due to which a woman and a girl child in it died on the spot. The atmosphere was inconsolable due to the cries of the Jugaad riders and the people around ran towards the spot. Taking care of the injured, they were taken to the district hospital. In the dark of night, there was chaos in the district hospital due to screams.
While the doctor declared a woman and a girl child dead, 6 seriously injured people have been referred to Jaipur. The bodies of both the deceased have been kept in the mortuary of the hospital. SP Vandita Rana reached the district hospital late night after getting information about the collision between Trola and Jugaad, reached the district hospital late night and inquired about the incident. During this, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kaluram Meena, Kotwali police station in-charge Lal Singh and Sadar police station’s Japta were also present.
