Woman and son-in-law found dead in house in Kovalam, suicide note read ‘taking mother also’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman and her son-in-law were found dead at home in Kovalam’s Vandithadam. The deceased have been identified as Shyamala (76), who live on rent at a house in Varnam Road near Vandithadam Veterinary Hospital, and her son-in-law Sabulal (50). The dead bodies were seen when the maid came home at 7 am. Sabu’s wife died a month ago. He was undergoing treatment for cancer for about a year. As per relatives, Sabu was under depression.According to the police, it is likely that Sabu committed suicide after killing his mother-in-law.
