Woman arrested in death of 3, police took action on the basis of suicide note
Korba. The police has solved the mystery of the death of husband, wife and child in the district. Frustrated over not paying the dues for the construction of a house, the young man killed his wife and child and then committed suicide. This revelation has been made on the basis of the suicide note found near the deceased. The police have arrested the accused woman in the case.
Actually, the dead bodies of husband, wife and child were found on May 9 in Gram Panchayat Kokaricholi under Urga police station. Resident Jairam Rajak lived with his wife Sujata Rajak and two-year-old daughter. Along with being a laborer, Jairam Rajak also did farming. On the night of Wednesday 8th May, he went to sleep after having dinner with his family and the next morning on 9th May, the dead bodies of the three, husband, wife and child, were lying in the room inside the house. The dead bodies of the wife and child were in the bed and the dead body of the husband was next to it. All three were attacked with sharp weapons. There were traces of blood all around the house. Police and cyber team reached the spot and investigation was started. During the search, police found a suicide note in the house, in which the due amount of house construction of Rs 1,88,100 was not paid by Santoshi’s husband Lal Singh resident of Silayaribhatha. There is an article titled ‘I am going to die due to pain of not giving money even after repeated requests’.
After the suicide note found from the incident site and the statement of the mechanic, labourer, Reza who worked with the deceased, accused Santoshi Jagat was arrested by registering Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. During investigation, accused Santoshi Jagat was arrested and sent to judicial custody.
