Woman came to shop on pretext and stole goods
Vadodara: On the pretext of shopping in a shop in Manjalpur area, an unknown woman stole goods worth Rs 7 thousand including two dresses, two wristbands, a bracelet and a scarf and ran away. Therefore the shop owner has filed a police complaint against the woman.
Jhalakben Hemant Sharma, resident of Surya Darshan Transshipment in Manjalpur area of the city, has lodged a complaint that I am running a shop in the name of N&G and building a house on the ground floor of Arya Four Square Complex. They earn their living by selling women and children’s clothes and jewellery. Last January 2, at 10 am, I went from home to the shop with my two daughters.
When I was at the shop during lunch time, a stranger came to my shop and said that I needed a dress for my daughter. So, while I was busy taking out other items including two dresses and two armlets, this lady found two dresses, two armlets, a bangle and a dupatta and walked away with stuff worth Rs 7,000. Without giving me money, they stole my eyes. Therefore, Manjalpur police has started trying to catch the woman.
