Woman dies a painful death after being hit by a dumper

Ujjain. A dumper filled with gravel hit a couple going on a bike on Karondia Dhatravda Road on Thursday evening. In the accident, the woman sitting behind the bike got stuck in the wheel of the dumper due to which she died on the spot, while her husband fell away and is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment. Nagjhiri police has registered a case and seized the dumper. Police said that Chatarbai, wife of Kishanlal, 58 years, resident of village Pingleshvar, was going on a bike with her husband Kishanlal, 60 years, from village Karondia Kankad Dhatravda Road on Thursday.

At the same time, the driver of dumper number MP 42 G 1765 hit the bike while driving his vehicle carelessly. In the accident, Chatarbai got stuck under the wheel of the dumper due to which she died on the spot, while her husband Kishanlal was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Police said that seeing the crowd present on the spot, the driver ran away while people caught the cleaner of the dumper and handed him over to the police after beating him up. Police took the cleaner into custody and also seized the dumper and after getting the woman’s body post-mortem done, a case has been registered against the accused dumper driver.
