Woman dies after a biscuit got stuck in her throat, doctor speaks up after uproar in hospital

Bilaspur news. The family members created a ruckus over the death of a woman in Bilaspur. They said that she had a normal delivery a day before and she was completely healthy, but what happened suddenly that she died. On the other hand, the doctor told the family that the biscuit got stuck in her throat, due to which the woman died due to deteriorating health. The angry family members have demanded an investigation into the matter and action against the culprits.

Saraswati Porte (26), wife of Laxman Porte, a resident of Vijayapuram in Sarkanda, was pregnant. Last Tuesday, she had labor pains, then the family took her to SIMS, where she was admitted to the gynecology ward, after which she gave birth to a newborn girl at around eight in the night. She had a normal delivery and her condition was normal.

The woman’s sister Subhanjani Maravi said that she works in the hospital. On Thursday morning, suddenly the family members called and told that she had gone into coma, after which she reached SIMS. The staff here said that the biscuit must have got stuck in her throat, due to which she was not breathing. She is currently undergoing treatment. But, she was lying unconscious. Later, the family members were told that she had died.
