Woman police constable killed by her brother

Rangareddy: A woman police constable was allegedly killed by her brother on the outskirts of Raypolu village in Ibrahimpatnam in Rangareddy district. She had recently had an inter-caste love marriage, the inspector of Ibrahimpatnam police station said. On December 2, her brother Paramesh hit her scooty with his car and stabbed her, the official said. Further investigation into the case is underway.

A 24-year-old man committed suicide in Telangana’s Rangareddy district last month. Police have registered a case in this regard, although the reason for the suicide is not yet known. According to police officials, “24-year-old Vanga Naveen Reddy committed suicide by falling from the 13th floor of the building. We have registered a case and the body of the deceased has been sent to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem. The reasons for the suicide are being investigated.”
