Woman shot dead after entering house
Bettiah: In Bettiah, Bihar, miscreants entered the house and shot a woman, resulting in her death. It is suspected that the incident was carried out due to a land dispute. After this incident, there is chaos among the family members of the deceased. The incident took place in Badhara Khalwa Tola village of Yogapatti police station area.
The deceased woman has been identified as Rajmati Devi, 35, wife of Doma Chaudhary, resident of Badhara Khalwa Tola village under Yogapatti police station area. It is being told that Rajmati Devi was sleeping in her room, when three people along with Manzoor Gadi and Aflu Yadav of the same village entered the house and shot her in the head. After committing the crime, all the accused fled from the spot.
The seriously injured woman was admitted to Yogapatti PHC for treatment, where doctors after first aid referred her to Bettiah GMCH. Seeing the critical condition of the woman, the doctors referred her to PMCH but the woman died before reaching Patna.
On the other hand, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the woman’s body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and are conducting raids to arrest the accused. It is being told that he was shot dead by the people of the village over a land dispute. At present the police is busy investigating the entire matter.
