Woman’s body found in Kalyan Lodge room, investigation underway

Thane: A 32-year-old woman was found dead in a room of a lodge in Maharashtra’s Thane district on Sunday.

An official of MFC police station said that the body of Jyoti Todarmal was found this morning in a lodge in Kalyan city.

The deceased had checked in with a man

Todarmal had entered the lodge with a person on Saturday afternoon and later left the establishment without informing anyone, he said.

The officer said that the housekeeping staff found the woman lying dead in a suspicious manner in the room.

He said that the body has been sent for post-mortem and the cause of death is not yet known. He told that the police is searching for that person.
